Jantar is a picturesque seaside resort located on the Vistula Spit. The area around the village is the most abundant in amber; the village lies on the former Amber Trail. The local beach is one of the widest on the Polish coast, covered with yellow, fine sand.
The village is taking on the character of a year-round rehabilitation and treatment centre. In Jantar, you can use the services of centres with brine springs. In the village, there are centres that provide medical services: physical therapy, kinesitherapy, balneotherapy, cryotherapy. After the summer season, you can use the indoor swimming pool, salt grotto or wellness centres.
An unquestionable attraction in Jantar is the Mini Zoo. There you can see: kangaroos, zebra, one-humped camel, Cameroonian, Syrian and miniature goats, llamas, guanacos, alpacas, domestic donkeys, fallow deer, as well as peacocks, including unique white peacocks, emu, nandu and exotic species of hens. An additional attraction is the Żuławy Access Railway, running along a picturesque route along the Vistula Spit.
